A Message from Rev. JoAnn There are three ways that prayers are answered. "Yes; wait awhile; or no."  Sometimes we think our prayers aren't answered because we can't hear what we don't want to hear.  So we say to ourselves, "my prayer is not being answered."  We want what we want, when we want it and don't like hearing "no" or "wait awhile." Maybe that "No" answer is going to lead us to some greater experience.  I have learned that prayer is a mental process, it isn't a device to get me what I want. Prayer is a means to get me to the point where I will relax and have a listening attitude. Teaching ourselves to think creatively is the difference between living life well, filled with peace or living it poorly.  Prayer sharpens the mind and thereby brings us into harmony with the greater Mind.  Prayer is contact with Spirit through the mental process whereby we conquer our own weaknesses and enter into Life joyously and abundantly. Prayer can change your life to the extent you are able to align yourself with the nature of things, with the Harmony, the Good, and the Intelligence of that Power greater than you are. As we know God, creative action, is Law, we know we are  able to have the good things we desire. Prayer can change our life wonderfully.  Let's put positive prayer to work in our life daily.
